vacuum seal

I am new to the G wagen and this forum... Anyone knows where I can get the vacuum seal tube from in the UK?

Not sure exactly what part you are referring to? However, the local MB dealer may be the best source for engine parts such as hoses, valves, vacuum lines etc. generally not too expensive either.
You need some time with me on a campus computer with your VIN to show you a couple of useful sites.
Also if it's just a regular translucent tube there's a local supplier that sells it by the meter, not too dear. Drop me a PM (private message)...

are we talking about the door seal?
i honestly am somewhat disturbed by the dealer's price
and with the rain season coming, it would be something nice to get done
Sorry the part I refer to is rather the vacuum pipes in the engine compartment. If I had a source for the door seals I would've rejoiced long ago...though now you mention it, I do remember someone mentioning a generic rubber door seal/trim supplier in the UK:

I am not in Loughborough at the moment... I'm with my old school friends down in Cirencester...will be back in a week or so!
