An R63 AMG Long wheel base. Rare is not the word, but looked up new price. £75,000 last year (Without options). £35000 loss in a year.
Thats got to hurt!!

Depreciation on the G has got to be the lowest of any vehicle. The V8 merc S clas don't do so well though. £37k in one year is not good, helps with the tax deductions
my favorite is bentley conti gt, you can get one from a bentley dealer now for less than 48k!
Tom
According the German group Dekra, the G is one of the best vehicles for holding its value and that doesn't take into account RHD Gs. When you figure 9 year old RHD G500s are still selling for £29000 that certainly seems to confirm it.
seriously , who wants a r class
but if they keep dropping like that, its going to be the cheapest way to get a 6.2 amg engine under the fast foot!
seriously , who wants a r class
I was looking at some R500s at mobile.de yesterday and you can have a low-miles(15-25000) US import for much less than 30 000 Euro. I am quite temped to buy one, LPG it and use as my daily driver. The car has the strong and reliable V8 from the G500 in combination with the 7G gearbox, huge and comfortable interior similar to a S-class and 4x4 for winter driving.

Erm, nope u still not sold it to me, can't quite understand what mb were thinking what Market this would be for, a nice E63 estate is a much nicer option

But much more expensive - as Tom mentioned you can get your right boot controlling a 63 from some cheep pennies...
Spider1V - Thinking about maybe its time to change?? (Nope still stick with the G!)
Methinks  Money is burning a hole in someones pocket
CRAZY... don't think I will get a new car when I get rich... get 2 2nd hands instead!

its the best way to be, the guy i drive for only buys new cars for himself, and even thats only in special cases, everything is damaged repairs (he has a good source) youd be mad to continuously keep losing that sort of money on cars how ever rich you are, billionaires aside!
it seriously makes me sick when i think about losing THAT much in a year!

true Ian, must be one of their least sought after models....hence the truly horrendous figures.
