has anybody clocked this device over there?

I wonder what are these plonkers at MB doing wasting so much money with their silly projects when there is a solution for saving fuel so close at hand....

I agree Mort, if these things are so easy and cheap to retrofit why aren't the big boys refining the technology and factory fitting? Is 15 - 40% fuel saving with a "backyard" product worthless against their efforts and technologies? I can't recall any recent claims for this level of economy by any car maker! Think they're all in cahoots with the oil companies.

Also as they don't own the technology they would have to spend a few bob to licence it. I mean if I cam up with an idea like this I would want a huge upfront payment then say a reatiner of £x for everyone sold thereafter. THey would also look to shaft the poor inventor....

Methinks the only way they may do somthing is if people brought their cars and held on to them for a long time.....?
