Does anyone know where i can buy the lozenge shaped speakers that go in the footwell of my 86 3oogd ? Many Thanks

Hi are they Becker original fit or retrofit..I would have Becker ones but "as removed" let me have the dim's along and across.....

Hello Peter the holes are 125x75 there were no speakers fitted here and this is the factory panal dont suppose you know what the back ones are, Ive been driving her for three years now approx 30.000 per annum on the one dash speaker goes to show I must like driving it ! can I pay you by card Iam on holliday ths week so trying to do some jobs (busmans holiday)Kind regards Andrew

The back ones could be round or oval and the corner panels have to come out to fit them plus locating the wiring or installing new...is it a Blaupunkt radio or retrofit?? if you have a local car sound system installer he could be your best bet for speakers and low impedance wire....

now ive read my last note ive realised my mistake the holes are the screw holes not the centre speaker hole hope you have something

i just used aftermarket alpine ones in the footwell by my feet, i cant remember the size but can look it up if you like.

Thanks for that I tried three radio shops and they dont seem to be interested in older cars ill try and find my local Alpine dealer thanks again

pm fred, hes got my old 230 with the speakers in, im sure the guy we use for electricals just fitted 4 inch/10cm speakers down there and they fitted straight in

i bought my stuff from Dynamic Sounds
they have an ebay shop under the name budgetcaraudio and i always found them helpful.

p.s you dont have to use alpine, i have just found them a very reliable product for years, my sister still has a cd player in her car from the early 90's made by them thats never failed!
