Re: Dog Guard

that model do you want it for? if its for the 280 then im sure someone on here will have it, i had one in my 230 but the files for it are on my portable hard drive back home.

if its for the g500, im not so sure, but i bet mr smart and morty will be able to confirm if they exist or not

Re: Dog Guard

if i am correct in what you are referring to, its the one which is built into the loadspace cover.

as far as i know you can't readily retrofit it as the actual interior of the roof of the G is marginally different to allow it to connect. if you can fit it you will have a slot on either side above the headrests of the rear seat.

though i am sure you could probably do some creative tinkering to get one to work.

It is for a 500. I have the load space cover. You must be able to retro fit it?

Re: Dog Guard

On the Gs where the net was fitted as standard there is a recess in the headliner for item 8 to fit in.

Re: Dog Guard

I see what you mean. I thought I saw a more recent one where the net rolled up and hooked onto the rails running down each side of the headlining.

I think they may be in the 280. they are little metal strips.

Re: Dog Guard

i've never seen that before - unless they are curtain rails. which was an option on the 460...

Re: Dog Guard

This is interesting, because it's exactly a puzzle I'm having at the moment. I can't find any fixings for the load cover/mesh cargo net in my G, but I agree with MS that you'd have thought they'd be easy to fit. Which generation of E-class are you talking about, shauny+dawny? W124 series or something later?
