Mercedes 300gd 1985 xxl LHD
Can any one tell me the history of this car, It's a 300gd from 1985,
Where is it made for and how many ?
It's in my garage now but I bought it in Zweden waiting for his 25 birthday then it's a oldtimer in holland and cheap to drive.

I believe if you can get the VIN Number we have a website you can check that against.
Spider1V
put the vin number on the forum and it can be researched with MB to include the factory date of mnfctr ......
I hope that this helps. Originally white!

Funny, they made the limo form a SWB and not from a LWB?
Funny, they made the limo form a SWB and not from a LWB?
Makes sense - the SWB has a longer rear section since it doesn't have rear doors.
its quite logical morti, just like my llwb project.the rear body on a swb is longer than a lwb, and then if you adapt two front doors to fit, they are 5 ish inches longer than lwb middle doors, so you get your extra length easily.
OK guys... now it makes sense. (Marmite doesn't so don't insist  )
