How to drive a 280GE Auto?
I not to long ago purchase a 280GE but have no idea how to really drive it?
what does those 2 pulls do! the other stick gear below the auto gears!
Ye I sound stupid but hey better I ask.

the lever to the rear of the auto is to put the vehicle into 4 wheel drive 1st position and if I recall correctly by moving it to its 2nd position puts the car into low ratio 4 wheel drive, best to do this when stationary, the pulls are for locking the front and rear differentials, putting the car in low ratio locks the centre differential.
You could try Mercedes they should be able to give you a photocopy of the hand book if not an original
