VIN details needed.
i have just brought my 3rd G.
its a another red 460 cab in rhd. its an original but neglected example.it has no rust though :wink:
i am unable to find trace any details from the vin no :?

Hi Huss congratulations!!! check the vin No on the chassis leg behind the rear of the front wheel and on the data plate on the air intake duct for the heater...don't forget to add WDB .............. in front when using the russian web site...................
The nine first digits of that VIN are obviously correct since the type code for a 240GD Cabrio is 460 310 and the code for a RHD is 27.
So therefore, the VIN must start with the digits WDB 460 310 27 0
Have your brother check the last five digits...we dislexics tend to alter the order of the digits...

this is another cypriot G :wink:
first registered in 1985 but i think its a late 83 model. it has got the rear bench from factory and the outside wheel carrier. it was a 240GD but now has a 250D multivalve engine fitted together with the 250D gearbox :shock:
my bro said that it flies.... :!: i will have pics to share soon,as you know i like to share any G pics i have.
cliff, you are on form buddy :lol: . i have all sorts of plans with this G, I am thinking of turning it into a beast :evil: :twisted:
hey fixwin, please do the vin number honours as i have tried a dozen times :? maybe i have the wrong numbers...not sure, but will find out soon.
