Hi all,
yesterday I went to check my fuel pump because of a leak on the body. Finally I overhauled the pump (350 euros) and as the inlet was out nad the pump adjusted, I decided to check the injectors as well. I change the "niddles" (is that the word:oops: ) that are in the injectors (cost 200 euros). I find that the engine runs smother, not so smoke and the technician said I will notice economy in fuel.
Cheers Angelos

You guys are lucky over there - a year ago i was qouted R11 000 (1000 Euros) to overall my old pump, and if i remember correct 5 new injectors costed me R9 000 (abour 800 Euros). At which mileage was it necessary to do this?

Regards and enjoy the new power!

Hi Freek,
mine has around 500.000 km. According the technician I was told that it depens on the quality of the diesel that you use (water etc) but anyway it will last for more than 500.000 km!! The pump was ok only the seals were destroyed. I feel the car works very smooth and more power in low revs.
Regards Angelos
