PARTS - Wheel bearing for a 280GE
Any links/sites for obtaining parts for a 280 GE?
At the minute i am trying to find out a rough cost of wheel bearings and labour!

Check out this section, there is much discussion on front hubs. Any bearing shop will have the bearings, you just need the numbers
Go to MB, they will get you the right ones at a good price, with all the seals and gaskets etc , they will cost less than a £100 each side.
you must get the seals, bearings only won't do the job .
Seals and gaiters are only available from MB.... bearings to pattern or Bearing manufacturer part number from any bearing distributor at a third of MB price...do the steering swivel bearings while your in the area>>MB charge GBP 97 + vat per hour for labour and have been known to take 6 hours per side to do the job......mainly due to lack of "hands on" experience on the G wagen....
