After an hour battle, with electric fans wireing and broken interior heating hoses (bad leak), I finally managed to make Few pics of my G in new shoes :)

http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/bakkuk/GTixover

Oh... by the way. 40mm Body Lift only is slightly not enaugh for 35" tyres. It's not bad, but they rub a bit sometimes. Will have to stick higher springs as well.

Pics are not the best quality, but with my "ultrafast" 3G connection it's all I can do. I'll stick few more over weekend.

Cheers

Tyres are SIMEX TREKKER 35/10.50 15R, and YES....... They Do The JOB :))))

Bad points.... You don't need 5-th gear anymore, as the ratios are to high to keep it going (on tarmac of course:)), don't need Radio either..... as You can't hear Nothing, and no need for jogging at the morning - as they will shake any fat out off You within seconds :))
.....
They Are Just GREAT!!!

It looks very cool nice one!
I really want to go off road, it's all a bit new to me, where was it you went, I would probably need some training?

Loving the tires!!

Strange,
they do not look at all out of place
for such large tyres
Marcus
PS
Does it float??

I don't realy know what that "out of place" means....

What Do You understand by floating?? On the road with 70-80 mph it drives dead streight, without tendency to move from left to right and back, different on corners with the same speed ;)
While braking frontend seems to "dive" bit more than before...

Cheers

Re: A bit of offroading in Tixover

Sunday comming (before bank holliday), tixover opened again :))
I hope You'll get the german beast over :)) I could eventualy try the deep mud part of Tixover (I was a bit worried to go there without winch :)).

Probably After I'll see Your G, I'll spend another week in garage...

Hope to see You shortly
Month ago I've met another lad with G down there. Maybe there will be more of us :)

Hi Bart,

The wheels and tyres make a job of it. Gives it that extra bit of clearence needed sometimes. It looks the part now. The downsides you mention are worth putting up with.

When posting pics next any chance of a couple of how the exhaust is routed up out of the way, especially from the manifold out as I am getting tired of trying to fix mine after each outing in the rough stuff.

Regards,

Mike
