See Attachment letter for Final confirmation from CC London that my planned german import of a g300 td from May 2000, would not have avoided the £25 as thought :( :evil:

Well its still early hours but so far it looks like the £25 C-Charge is well on its way to being scrapped....
My tickets to Germany are on hold... :D
You know that 2001 G300 TD in the UK is now listed at less than £24K - well worth a look as at that price and mileage you won't save much if anything by buying in Germany.

well the cc charge will stay and so will lez led zone, which kills my buisness by a1/3 and I dont even live in London, should be interesting to watch the developments over the next 4 years !
Well..I went and did it...Bought the one on Charles Ironside...300 td / 2001 in obsidian with black leather....stunning quality all around...with piano black wood inside...will get some pics on asap...thanks to all for the great advice..this site is fantastic..THE CAR IS AMAZING...Love all about it !
Fingers crossed Boris doesnt go back on his pre-election commitments....

a few more weeks to go for Boris to get in, money is locked and loaded in the bank..and then decisons to be made! Just trying to search for the right G55...can't find any in UK so search in Germany continues...
