Has Bill Moss got a set?

Can anyone recommend a decent snorkel for a 460, being easy to fit is a big consideration.

Thanks.

Re: Hutchinsons

you can modify an original MB g wagen army snorkel for your 280. actualy you need to modify your air filter box little bit that is all.

You can buy them from MB dealers very reasonable prices as well.

Bill, where did you get your Hutchinsons?

Anyone got the part numbers for the snorkel? I am not sure that my local MB dealer will know what I am talking about.

What kind of prices are we talking?

The plastic moulding from the wing up looks like a Schmude, which you can get from a number of places including, would you beleave, Schmude.
The rest looks like B & Q and a tin opener.

Re: Hutchinsons

That link is very misleading. you need special equipment to mount a tyre on a Hutchinson split rim, and does it have the bead lock or the run flat, they are seperate items, finaly it is not classified as an armoured rim.

I think I will pass on that James. All I need to know comes from the manufacturers main agents either here in the UK or Holland or the subsiduary factory in France.
