Freds Scottish run and Daylight Saving time begins
We will have our Scottish Run on the Weekend 05/06 of April 2008
We will be based in Dunkeld in the fife region of Scotland
Dunkeld is about 1.5 hours North of Edinburgh.
They are a lots of B&B, Hotels and a few camp sites.
Lots of activities in t,here including walking, fishing, quads etc etc
I am sure the kids and parents can enjoy a nice and lovely weekend in there and even a full weeks holliday.

We will be having fun at the 4x4 play and pay site on the saturday with tea coffee and maybe a barbecue the site is quite challenging for the those that want to rough it also easy and safe for shiny trucks ... WATER PROVIDED FOR MARK WITH THE NEW ORC SNORKEL

We will then meet in town in the evening for a meal and a couples of drinks.

A drive on Sunday from Dunkeld going west and ending in Aberfeldy we we can visit a distillery ....

Re: Freds Scottish Run

hello fellas.

i was hoping i could make this trip and have holding off on a decision, but even though i have 4 weeks off at uni, sadly mortgage/house hassle is killing off any luxuries at the moment so not making the trip has become a sad reality!

have a great time, hope whoever drives exyd enjoys it and i expect to see more pictures of fred and mark expressing their passion!

Absolutely.

As my good mate Freyer -owner of the almadin red G300 Cabrio- likes to point out: "enjoying a GWagen is like successfully pulling a bird in a night-club: have of the fun is later showing the pictures you took to your mates"

Hi Fred, as my Ferry only gets in at that time, I'll not be able to make the arrival time. I'll see you at the site after I deposit the kids in Edinburgh.

See you tomorrow.

It is fair comment Richard.

I feel truly awful for Fred, who found that lovely spot for us all + even supplied the catering. Same (not so) old faces.

I know that it was a fair distance for some, but you made the effort and I certainly did, getting home this morning after 3, having had my ferry cancelled.

Sorry I couldn't make it Fred. Sounds like you put a lot of effort in. I would have been there had we not been away. Next time for sure.

Hey guys,
Big thank you for your comments, you shouldn't feel awful at all, it was a great weekend I fully enjoyed it.
We had great time off roading on Saturday and it was a lovely drive on Sunday all of that with a beautiful weather.
Thanks to Rich & Corinne for coming up from south and Ross for coming down from the North, Marty for coming from Ireland and the Watkins family from Manchester.
Just a bit upset as we thought they would have had more Scottish members turning up as for once they were something happening around the corner from them. (I for sure will know what to reply when the next complain comes in).
Thanks again to all, pics & movie to follow.
Fred
