After having my window forced so someone could releave me of my chainsaw the winder mechanism is really struggling to close the window. the teeth are jumping badly as the glass nears the top. I dont think the thing is servicable so is there a cheaper alternative to the figure my local MB dealer is quoting. I was wondering if anyone knew if one from any other vehicle might fit. Many thanks Richard

Hi if you take it out sometimes you can dress the spiral section back into profile ..assuming it is a windup installation .....
