Hi,
Anyone know if the window motor in a 463 is the same as a 300/W124 series of the same era?

My passenger side one seems a little tired. Still works but only just. Cleaned and lubed the rails but no improvement. The local scrappy has some 124's but when I say local it's a 40 mile round trip so I don't want to waste time if they are completely different.

Cheers,
Russ

Re: Electric Window Motor

mine was really slow , with no power , i detached the moter from the windy bit and lubricated the ends where it spins it took alot of freeing off runnig it on its own power was makeing it overheat so i connected it to my drill . sinsce then its worked almost like new .the grease seems to set really hard .saddley i am breaking my 124 so if you dont find out before hand i could have a look .in excess of £300 when i asked mercedes .theres nowt worse than a stuck down window

Motors are exclusive of the GWagen. W124s motors are different...
