I am in the proccess of booking our summer holidays in Cork.

We will be using the ferry from Stranraer to Belfast, and need to break the journey on arrival in Belfast.

Can anyone recommend a good lodge or B & B with secure parking (will have trailer) within say half an hour to an hour of Belfast ferry terminal?

Thanks

If you decide to tour around and make it all the way to Clare, give me a buzz or if I can help with anything.

Regards,

Mike

Hi head for Dungannon on the M1 west bound about 40minutes from the ferry... you can stay at the Stangmore Lodge or the Bank Hotel in Dungannon and leave your trailer overnight in my secure courtyard (dogs and gates) if that is any help.......

Thanks for the replies.

My take you up on that offer Fixwin.

Looks like we will be travelling on Friday 27th June and need accomodation for the Friday evening.

Will travel down to Cork on the Saturday morning.

Not 100% sure whether I am taking the G, as I need a jump seat for the rear, and have not had much luck in finding one at a "reasonable" price. Looking into the possibility of hiring a mini bus, or changing one of my other cars and buying a V class or Caravelle.
