I'm thinking of rebuilding my gear shifter and wondered if anyone had done this - will it explode?

Re: gear shifter

Is this question based on stripping a gear linkage within the tunnell or the gearbox below, centered between the gear selection rods?
463 or 460?

Regards,

Mike

Re: gear shifter

Hi Mike, no it's the bit inside the car (460) that bolts to the tunnel. The bottom end of the gear stick

Ah now I see it. Thought you ment fitting the selector rod repair/replace kit visible from above the tunnell when you remove the gear lever gaiter.

Mike
