Naked pics of my G
Apologies to all those who clicked to see me in a G string. Not a pretty sight I assure you!
I went to have a look at my new G this morning. They put it on a ramp so that I could inspect the underneath, and all looked healthy. The bumpers have been taken off as I wanted them painted. Just looked odd with black bumpers, and I have a set of bull bars on order, as well as the chrome strips for the grill. Hopefully taking delivery on Sunday assuming they get the bumpers and paperwork finished in time.

This this the sellers new model. G320 CDi with some mods from AMG. Supposed to be a one off/rare job to give it more power. I was driving behind in (in my Corolla hire car) and couldnt keep up!

Finally he was telling me that the Saudi government has about 200+ armored Gs. A team flies in from Germany from time to time to maintain them. I doubt I will be able to get any pics of those!
You G has only got 1 silencer on it. I wonder if this is standard or whether it was removed as part of the upgrade. In the UK I think you need a cat. but I'm not certain. It must have a bit of a bark to it.
The new 320cdi is 225hp standard and over 500nm. Upgrading that would be 500 beating power

Funny you should say that. He was saying the MD of MB over here has a G500 and really struggled to pull away. He offered a race from Jeddah to Dammam (one side of the country to the other) and guaranteed to beat him since the power was on par, but fuel consumption better. Hence less fuel stops.
I'll try to find out about the exhaust.
do diesels use cats as well?
i think i posted a photo of an armoured G somewhere..but then that wasn't exactly a civvy..it was a personnel carrier/gunship

Thanks Huss. Yeah I noticed that from your pics. IMHO they look absolutely stunning on the car, much better than in the pics. Cant wait to pic it up.

I think you're right... EU specs G270s have a cat in lieu of the pipe on the RHS of the car....

thanks very much for that. It looks like I won't be getting the car until later this week now as there has been a delay in my paperwork. Typical Saudi beaurocracy. So hopefully pick it up on Tuesday but then I fly back to London on Wednesday for a few days. Sods law really.
Man totally frustrated! I wont be getting my G until Saturday now as the paperwork was delayed. Plus didnt get to fly home on wednesday as planned, so I'll be here in saudi until the start of next week.
I want my G! On the positive side I saw my car on Tuesday with the bumpers back on, and it looks ace.
270 CDi's have the cat located right behind the turbo charger, don't believe it's visible from underneath. Otherwise only one muffler is stock.
