just trying to remove some trim on the inside of my 2000 and wondering if anyone knows how to do it or could kindly look it up in a workshop manually for me.

1) I want to replace the lights behind the three heater/ventiallation slider switches on the middle console below the dif lock switches. I presume I can pull out the whole panel somehow?

2) Whoever owned my G last, crossed the cables to the rear 12v socket in the passenger compartment. I want to remove this socket but no pulling or prying seems to have done it. I don't want to force it for fear of breaking it.

Thanks in advance.

Re: removing interior trim (heater sliders/12v socket)

Hi,

I think this may (not sure) have already been talked about on the forum...If its anything like my 280ge(i havent seen the inside of the newer ones lol) then the push all the heater switches over to the left and pop the right side out with a screw driver.

The bulbs I think are in the end..One at the top one at the bottom.

Not sure if thats any help

Joe
