Wabasto Thermo top C - auxilliary heater
I have a Wabasto Thermo Top C auxiliary heating unit for my 290 GTD. Does anybody have a 290 with the unit fitted ex factory, or any pictures of the unit fitted.
On the 290 it sits on the right hand side (from the front) between the inlet manifold and the inner wing. I can see a number of lugs already in the area which I am assuming will be to support the unit.

Thank you for responding to my request on the forum.
I have purchased a Wabasto Thermo Top C which I note on the parts catalogue is the model fitted to the G 290 TD.
I notice when you view the engine the pair of pipes to the left in front of the battery tray which supplies the flow and return for the cooling system.
I would be grateful if you could please take a general picture of the unit in the engine bay and more specifically one showing the supporting brackets and the position of the Weastos exhasust route.
Also if possible can you have a look on the data plate on the Webasto and confirm the size of unit i.e. is it 40w – 5.0kw or a 42w – 5.2kw.
