A discounted source of OEM parts in the Mid-East...

Being back home for a few weeks, I happened to come across a warehouse that specialises in MB parts, and his discounts start at 50% of the dealer price in the UAE (which is a bit better than EU prices listed on the Russian websites), but I expect he is more flexible on larger orders.

I spoke to him briefly about the GWOA and he is willing to quote shipping through whatever means possible (DHL, Fedex, etc).

He is armed with a recent version of EPC, and his reputation is pretty good, to the extent that the local MB stealer sometimes gets his parts from him.

I am aware this might be of limited use, except to the minority of members who reside overseas, but it makes the GWOA forums more comprehensive, and you never know when you might be visiting Dubai next ;)

To get an idea of pricing, a regular headlamp for a 463 (non-clear version) is about £35, the clear ones are about £70 each. He even had the elusive radio button for the MB Radio 10 in stock (£7.85, AED55)!
