Hi,

I need a little advice please.

How do i get to the light bulbs that do the lighting above the steering wheel (where it shows fuel level/Handbrake light/Oil light etc)

I think a few of my bulbs have gone as the headlight light doesn't come on(the one thats usually blue) and also a few others.

Also is there a way to wire a light into the part where the heater knobs and clock etc is as none of those seem to be working either. I have had a look at the fuses but they seem ok so im not sure what it could be?

any advice would be great
Many thanks
Joe

I think this may have been discussed earlier - have you tried a search?

Give the dimmer knob (bottom left of cluster) a jiggle. If all the instument lamps have failed it could be a dodgy dimmer.

Re: Interior lighting advice

Hi,

I have checked the forums like Maxwell Smart said and found a solution to the instrument cluster lighting(i think lol) it was 2 fuses had gone now my headlights seem to work properly aswell. Quick question while i remember where do i get the old style bullet fuses from. All i can find is glass and blade fuses?

Right now all the lights in the dashboard are still not working(heater/hazards etc) and also the gearbox light. I wouldn't have thought all the lights have gone on all the switches so im guessing it would be some wires or something. The thing is im not anygood at reading wiring diagrams so im lost lol

If this is any help its a 280GE sport automatic.

Thanks alot for your help so far
Joe
