LPG conversions speciall offers
Everyone knows I am a great fan of AUTOGAS/LPG, I have just got my
300GEL converted as well. Great conversion, different set up though.
Tanks are inside on the wheel arches 2x50 liters, because there is no space under the sills. But there is a new petrol tank lpg tank combination (25litres petrol/70litres lpg) which is available for this model. Later on I will go for this option and install the jump seats at the back.
Being so enthusiastic about Autogas I am in a joint venture with this company. Member of LPGA association all parts with 24 months warranty .Their conversion portofolio is immense. Around 500 vehicles in uk only. Turbo Subarus, Mercedes clks, mitsubishis, g wagens etc.
Now the most important part that might be of interest to anyone here is
there is a great deal on
Romano sequential injection systems. starts from £1200 +vat for a 6 cylinder (under 3000cc) more for bigger and less for smaller engines.
Let me know if anyone needs help. you can call me on 07960093413
Now stay away from airports with that lot,
esp. Glasgow.
PS
I must say Shakir it looks a very tidy professional installation,
and the best of luck with your venture.
And Eurostar.
Hi over here ( Ireland) we find that people with G's don't want the rear load space cluttered with tanks especially SWB models so we fit "torpedo type cylinders underneath "inside the chassis frame" giving 25ltr per side... more on LWB models (for the NON OFFROAD fraternity) and for others we remove the main fuel tank and fit a duel fuel tank or a single lpg tank with the standard 15ltr aux tank original G' fit behind the petrol filler cap.... prices start at GBP 950 for single point injection to GBP 1350 for multi point injection tuned to start on lpg. fitted and certified in accordance with LPGA regulations... 220 miles range SWB 230ge with underfloor tanks 180mls range SWB 280ge with underfloor tanks. Hus shld have figures for his 280ge LWB...Buckalec has recently converted a "toerag" to LPG and is about to do a 96 300gel......I have read somewhere that if your vehicle conforms to LPG and all the emissions levels criteria road tax can be as low as GBP 32 per annum and the vehicle will be exempt of all London town emissions penalties ..
good luck shakir,i hope your new business venture works well for you.
are there any potential problems with an LPG conversion on a 300G ?
no,just potential savings which means more use of your fantastic G
if anything, the more modern the engine the better the result :!: ask shakir he runs both his G's on lpg and with prices varying on the area you live in 47-54p per litre is a huge saving :!: :!:
finding a suitable position for the lpg tanks are the only issue i reckon .
i fill my G with lpg for £30 and get between 165-190 miles and that is mainly in and around town.(dont forget a 280 GEL is a 12 mpg guzzler  , a 300GE must return 17-20 mpg in similar cicumstances.
good mate.
Surprised - not as big a savings as I would of thought. Is that mainly city driving? Aggressive?
how many miles will oil burners get for £40?Maxwell help please. :?:
About 2000 miles,
..... in Libya
:D
plus from what i hear, mark produces free lpg on a friday night after a local takeaway and pint
if only he could store it too :!:
6p a litre is hard to argue with, we even came across a pump with a G on it
£40 @ £1.04 a litre will get you around 150 > 160 miles, on a gentle cruise @ 55 / 60 mph you could get 190 miles. At around 100mph with a rooftent on, about 115 miles
since when have you had a 463 shakir ??????
can you ask you friend how much to convert my G560 k jetronic with 80ltr tank.
shakir, the 463 bit is irrelevant.the 560 engine was never a merc fit in any g.that engine was made 85-91 ish in w126 and w107 models, and is basically the same as the same generation m117 500 v8.
:)
