Is there a way of determining which axles were supplied from the vin number?

Hi Chris type of axles does not appear on the Russian website but each axle has a data plate/serial No on it beside the diff.I have quoted this in the past to MB for parts and "hey presto" I got all the right items so the info is in the MB system somewhere.....

Hi Mike, just the 4.857:1 or 34:7 on the 'f'reg .
I think the 'D' reg has a slightly different number on the plate but it's out in the muddy field at the moment and it's persisting down so don't fancy going out with a torch
