Emotional??? Please don't make me laugh :lol:

Well actually I am laughing - but it's more due to my amusement at your self delusional ratification/justification of 460 ownership by finding inadequacies in 463s when you are clearly hankering after a 463... :P

:lol: If quality deteriated so much in the 90's,, just think what the new ones are like, do they get to the showrooms before falling apart?

Really not a good time to be considering getting a 320CDI :wink: :twisted: :lol:

Agreed. With these common rail engines and de 7-tronic gearbox all I hear is people having to turn back again and again to the Mercedes dealerships with their brand new motors 'cause they turn into safe mode and need remapping....

We call them Miercedes (Mierda means cr@p)

Re: Early 463 mirrors vs. later 463s (non-blinker ver.)

as much as i like modern mercedes' i am slowly but surely becoming a classic car enthusiast...... :!:

i think its almost time a good friend of mine starts explaining the realities of 460's and 463's :wink:

totaly non-biased.

( by the way my brother has jacked in the sales management position he had in their company because he has HAD ENOUGH OF CARS COMING BACK ON RECALLS and customers assuming that my brother owned mercedes-benz.)

he now runs the parts department and has regained his sanity :!: :!:

" I am now pestering his brother inlaw in regards to the rhd G320cdi you guys (and I am waiting to hear about :? "

15 minutes is long enough maxwell,like all novelties they all wear off :wink:

plus calling that cab a volvo is like someone calling a G WAGEN a

Re: Hus is in denial (Split from Early 463 mirrors...)

Well my mates refer to mine as the garden shed. Until I took them out in it, very, very soon ate humble pie! As I said to them, in my case, a G-wagen owner;

‘Walks a different path from the heard, can traverse that different path with ease and because of this they a deemed too sexy for words. And when push comes to shove – the G-Wagen owner knows they can do both with no difficulty.’ The G has also been referred to as the thinking mans Off Roader’

My friends drive; Range Rovers, Jeep (huh) a Shogun (semi respect) a TVR (that’s OK) and an SLR (Which I do give him Big Respect)
