What a GWagen can do...
That is amazing!! I never thought a G would lean that far without falling over, must have extra heavy wheels or something 8)
fantastic
Wouldn't of believed it!!!
The drivers arse must have been well stuck to the seat, -- but no of course he was on the lower side being LHD
Well impressed
 Very interesting I think the disco that fall over in front of me last spring in the V gulley at Glyn Ceriog was at least 10% more upright when physics took over, the G chassis weight must make the centre of gravity much lower which surprises me becuse i would have thought body weighed more anyway.
Regardless of that its a great clip 8)
got to say ive had mine at some rare angles but even my chocolate starfish would have puckered up long before that .
I can explain it!!!
It was the extra weight of the man with the hat and in conjunction with the aerodynamic downforce exerted on the brim of the hat worked like formula 1.
How about that?
Or should I go back to taking my prescribed medication?
You kanna change the laws of physics (except in a G wagen)
Regards,
Mike
that is the most extreme off road challenge i have ever seen  and i have seen almost every G clip on youtube but this tops them all
i thought only wranglers could do that  but i now rest my case :!:
well done Isa,now tell me it wasnt you driving it
i wouldnt say that, but use the term "heavy boned" :!:
that common cypriot terminology

Well, I didn't get an answer the first time! ;)
Sorry about the double post..... spot of finger trouble, I suspect.
c'mon man,we've all seen wranglers in extreme conditions.but i thought the G was too big and heavy to lift a wheel so high..
guess i was wrong
guess i was wrong Embarassed
Yep you were. Been there done that:D :D

Don't need a wrangler - get a pinz

OK Guy’s (and Gals),
I have looked through this part of the forum and wanted to know, unless obvious – like in Ireland - are most of your G’s standard build? Looking at the links that Rus280 put in I am stunned  that an ‘off the shelf’ car can do so much! Or is this just some ‘smoke and mirrors’? Apologies for the post if it causes offence, but in my defence, I am still learning about the potential of my G.
One thing I can tell you, when you get a boy racer trying it on with his mates you can scare the poo out of them (yesterday M40) not that I condone such road behavior, but when you have a Merc V8 under your right foot, you some times have to put them in their place!

I think all the G's in Russ's link are standard, apart from having all terrain or mud tyres, although the red 460 is far from standard, none of it's modifications are strictly "off road" mods. Nice to see Rich's lovelly 400CDI standard as well,, i'd forgotten what a lovelly G it "was"!
They do get stuck sometimes though, even more humiliating is being towed by a LR though.
Oh No - what happened??? Reading through some of the other forums, I always thought it was a G towing a LR!

Well the ground is pretty dry over here and that helps....
