G500 Discs & Pad best place to buy from

Just checking best resource for discs and pads for yr 2000 G500?

I would try anything but GWagen.co.uk first... even your friendly Mercedes stealership... you could be for a shock when you learn that sometimes they are the cheapest place to buy parts...
The rear brake discs and pads are also available from VW at half the price from the Merc dealers. Part numbers equate as follows:
Merc Rear Disc: 902 423 04 12 VW: 2D0 615 601A
Merc Rear Pads: 003 420 24 20 VW: 2D0 698 451B
I ordered these from the local VW dealer and when I picked them up the only markings on the discs were the Mercedes Part Number!

If you do try a Merc Dealership, you will qualify for the discount. Speaking with the guys at Brooklands, there is a 10% on Parts and 20% on Labour and that should be from all MB official dealerships.

Very interesting wonder what VW they're off ?? Also need fronts ?? I'll check as i have VW main dealer close.....
Just been talking with Eurocar parts Very eficient - thay have access to Merc main system with VIN number they see the full spec of car
Anyway -
Front Vented Discs (not on live system - out of stock) approx' £45 each
