Not recommended on paved surfaces though.

Optomistic :shock:

Range Rover etc at 3,500 kg is optomistic :lol:

.. soft springs so it doesn't handle the weight transfers so likely to swing (AA had to specify heavy springs after putting a few on their sides)
.. mechanics may not survive as long as trailer tyres.. :lol:
.. steering that is somewhat vague at best of times.. see note about swinging above. :cry:

Will it move it .. well that is another story .. as said give your a low enough gearbox and a 3.3 t Unimog will move 300 t odd.. so 2t verus 2.6t is fine.

Will it stop it .. well brakes need a work out every now and then .. stops them seizing.

Have known LWB 300 GDt to move probably twice the rated load at reasonable 45-50 mph speeds .. not fast but not unrealistic.
