MB Star
Just out of curiosity. I have noticed that out of all the G's I have seen, very few have the MB star mascot on the bonnet, most have the factory original MB flat badge. Now I have no preference either way, but were G's ever fitted with bonnet mascots & out there in G cyberspace are there any thoughts on those who do fit them & why they would?

The star "mascot" has never been factory fitted to any GWagen. As to the fitment, it must be fairly straightforwardif you have the original C- or E-class "star"
yes,but did it not interfere with the rad cap :?
mine did when we had it fitted back in.........1984 :roll:
"dad" wouldn't drive a merc in those days unless he could see the star on the bonnet 8)
nowadays he drives a clk :shock:
