reluctance to rev when first started

:?: My old girl starts first time but is a little hesitant to clear her throat and rev until she gets warm.
She also produces quite alot of black smoke during this period (rich??)
Once over about 1500-2000 revs all seems ok?
Any thoughts?

Hi the good old K Jetronic fuel injection system??? P in the A when its of song and any vacuum leak at all will put it out if kilter... put "K Jetronic" in your search engine.. you get pages of info not perculiar to the G' but the trouble shooting page is basically the same... too rich after the start probably is the 7th injector management system acting up..one good thing !! when you get it tuned right on the fuel and dwell its a sweet running engine.
Actually took time to investigate my issue at weekend.
It is definately alot worse while cold then it seems to get 90%better once warm.
Suspecting cold start injector - anybody? fixed this issue cheaply?
tips appreciated?
