G Wagen Repair - London area
Hello,
You may have seen my post regarding my GD-300 (1989) not switching off, it has been with a mechanic for 3 weeks now and still it has not been fixed. Does anybody know where I can take the G for it to be repaired.
You could try George Fraser - they have experience with Gs. But if you do keep an eye on it....
One of the technicians at Mercedes Benz Romford seems to know his onions when it comes to G's.
Try N&D at park royal, have a good knowledge of Diesels. Now have a really good Polish lad there whos shit hot with electrics as well .They do all my vans and trucks, oh and G Wagens.

i had this problem with my 300 gd .turned out to be the vaccume pipe from the key switch to the injector pump solenoid had chaffed against the battery tray causing a vaccume leak
