Re: fuel tank leak

Hi If it is plastic it may have been melted by the hot exhaust...some of the bumper repair people will have a go ...metal ones get badly corroded and repairs can be of very short duration due to the weight of the fuel sloshing about fuel on the ever thinning structure

arrow radiators use a process to repair fuel tanks called "fuel tank re-nu". it involves de-rusting the tank & baking a new skin on the inside & outside of the tank. they give a lifetime warranty on this process. i have just had one of my pannier tanks done & it seems extremely durable. they can be contacted on 01225 707996
