Exhausts- HELP!

I have just purchased a rhd lwb 463 and after having it fully checked over it requires a complete new exhaust. However it has been suggested to me it is possible to remove the crossover and the the final silencer box and simply have a single box and the exhaust straight through on one side.

Does anyone know if this will have any adverse effects on performance given there is a turbo fitted? Also does anyone know if the noise produced by having only one box would be too loud to pass an MOT?

Any help, advice or experience in this matter would be much appreciated

Re: Exhausts- HELP!

If you fitted an efficient enough silencer it would be ok to have only 1 on the driver's side. And it would be ok at low revs, but it would probably be quite loud at max revs. Or you could miss out the crossover one and have 2 similar to the MB setup.
I fitted a ss system with 3 silencers and it is noticable at max revs now, quite a drone inside the G
