PART NUMBERS OR EVEN THE PROPER NAME FOR THE PART
DOES ANYONE!!! KNOW THE PART NUMBER FOR THE PIECES OF METAL THAT SIT IN THE AXEL AND THE SPRINGS SIT ON IVE BEEN TOLD THEIR CALLED SPRING CUPS BUT IM NOT SURE AND THE G-WAGONCENTER HAS FAILED TO GET BACK TO ME ON THIS ONE DESPERATE FOR SOME INFO ON THIS

Item 8 = 460 324 0315 = spring retainer, 2 off required, would guess your local dealer could get them for £40 each in about a week. I would take your chassis number to the dealer to be sure.. that picture looks a bit different to my 1988 axles (it has a swage/change in diameter between diff and spring cup which mine does not have).
Patience and exploration gets you most things.. shouting (ie CAPITALS :oops: ), multiple posts etc mean you get ignored on line.. :wink:

cheers mr grays thanks for the info ill see if main dealer can get me these parts. Capitals on last message was not meant the hand brake uses capitals and caps lock was on, i just could not be bothered changin the case of last post apologies to all member if they thought i was shouting and being impatiant i just aint to good at this computer lark so searchin for stuff is not my forte i usually end up lookin like :shock: after ten mins on a computer
