BLUETOOTH
Please excuse my ignorance about blueteeth, GSMs etc.
I am looking for an OE Mercedes blootooth device for my 05 model G500 (already fitted with a hard wired "receptacle" in the arm rest which apparently can receive a telephone-specific cradle). It appears there are quite a few of them for sale on ebay. Are all of them compatible? Any ideas which is the better one and what is its part number? My GSM phone is a Nokia 9500 but I will never wish to use all its capabilities via the car's system (e-mail, fax, Office, calendar etc. Only basic calling, answering and possibly addressbook).

blue tooth components are not aways compatable i have no idea y.
There is someone who specialises in aftermarket installed electronics but OEM devices for MBs in the Netherlands who can probably help you. Unfortunately I can't remember his name but maybe try a google. But I will post it if I remember.
