What a great looking buggy, you can see the hours and attention to detail that have gone into that.

BTW, far to much weight over the rear

to increase the approach angle, so now you have a wheel in each corner, makes the front end lighter, so as not to put to much stress on the front CV's, also when ploughing through bog the front wont get so stuck, hopefully skim across. The whole thing weighs in at 1750kgs, his old one weighed 2600kgs  .

As for attention to detail, oh yes, there are even things you wouldn't notice. When I get some pictures next week I'll show you what I mean.

Re: any one lost a g wagen....

the front and rear bumpers have integral fair lead, this was painstakeinly done by Tony, with little bits of stainless, in wedge shapes, welded, grind down and polished, many hours of work

Re: any one lost a g wagen....

Interesting project and a clever design. let down by the choice of tyres.

there was no good choice of tyres on this event, it was so slippey, no one got round 75% of it without a winch, even the zuki's.
