rebuild kits for front callipers?
I think my nearside front calliper might be seized. Are rebuild kits available for these?
Hi don't know about kits but speedway.co.uk do them for around GBp 100 per side .....
brakes international are £76 a side! and they are good with delivery, they are only 10 mins down the road from me!

MB stealers £274+vat for the same Perrot calipers on mine. Brakes international £77
is there a 'reference number' or part number for the front callipers to use when contacting Brakes international?
i have a set of 500ge calipers for sale of a 94 463 one need refurb but other is perfect...
goto there website and put in your vehicle details and it will bring up all the relevant parts and numbers for you to quote. anybody would think i had shares in them! :D

my local garage has sourced a brand new calliper for approx £75 :) Should be arriving & fitted tomorrow
It is much better to replace exchange rather than rebuild, if you have to buy the pistons towards the rebuild, you will find the job no longer as economical.
Replaced both front calipers on mine tonight with new fitting kits(pins, pad clip, caliper bolts and brake wear sensor brackets), brake pipe and pipe/wiring mounting brackets.
Only one caliper piston had been partially seized and had not caused vibrations or pad/disc damage. That said the vehicle drives completely differently now and is an absolute dream!
Managed to get "Brake Engineering" calipers for £69 each + Vat (463 Single pipe supply). 460 calipers worked out £5 a side cheaper (sent by mistake!!)
