The immobilizer on my 230 has packed up. As you can imagine, the car is stuck. It is one of the Scorpion immobilisers as fitted new. It has a little battery thingy you have to press on the dash.

Someone knows how to disable it?

Re: Immobiliser Problems

I have a similar problem with my immobiliser It has a number 989 on it and i assume it was factory fitted but I could be wrong. It cuts out the ignition or fuel but the starter motor still turns. I was advised it was possibly the "bone" on the key ring but someone suggested the fuel relay under the steering wheel but I had a look and could not find it. I am inclined to remove the immobiliser if I can work out how to do it Cheers gary

Re: Immobiliser Problems

the immobiliser module will be wired into the primary ignition fuel pump and/or starter circuits and this could be at the ignition switch end of the wiring or in the fuse panel ..simply by sourcing the spurious wiring and bridging the wiring back to original will isolate the immobiliser system..all the frills.. sirens. access swtches etc will be inoperative as you will have NO immobiliser circuits functioning. just disconnecting the power supply to the immobiliser module may break the circuits to the ignition. fuel pump and / or starter...you could of course run new wires from the ignition switch to the services that are immobilised but this is messy and only a Get You Home" remedy.
