cost are about £1000 each for every thing including ferry, fuel and hotels, but if we camp it will be much cheaper. and you need to make a week of it as the travelling is longer.

I will take more time later to show you my preparation.
I answer to this post, because I have made the Cevenol Trophe this year.
Here, some pictures of my G in this trophee :

Yes, you are right!
By the way... whereabout does the trophee take place? Is it east of Bordeaux?
Let me know... it might be interesting to organize a get together of the British and Spanish enthusiasts contingents for next year's trophee!
No, it's not near bordeau.
It's maybe at 200km of the mediterranee sea.
In the country of sun !!!
The next year, normaly I will do again this trophee.
So, if there is some guy who want come, no problem !!!!
In few words, the trophee is composed of 4 days. The difficulty of the trophee is more by the length and the quantity of difficulties. Somes are very hard, but this organisation is alway here to help you with .... rope ? And when it's to difficult (some time, even with my G, his realy realy hard...), there is "deviation".
The cost is no cheapper.... Maybe 1000 euros for the 4 days.
Be carrefull also to the car crash and break. A lot of people didn't finish the trophee. Nevertheless, with our G, normaly, there is no problem ! in this kind of event, we can see the difference of avability between all !
If you want more information, ask me !
So 200 kms from the Mediterranean... how many from Barcelona? What is the name of the closest town/village? There is a sizeable contingent of GWagen enthusiasts in Catalonia/Andorra which I am sure wouldn't need much convincing in travelling there, even if it's only to see rather than drive.
The village is 'les vans'.
You have a picture of your G ?
Just to see if I remenber you !!!
just picked up on this thread....
wicked pics :P
still fancy it
