help anyone i cant find a rear window for my 230ge swb its been off the road for over a year does anybody know why i could possilbly purchase 1?

Its a flat plate of glass - you should be able to get someone to make you one. Also it shouldn't be too expensive from MB.

the part number for the rubber gasket/weatherstrip is A463 745 0024 (€50)
glass (for a 463, which should be the same, clear) A463 740 0157 (~€120)
european dealer prices, to find uk stealer prices use exch. rate 1€=£1+/-20%

Try as one thread above suggests, you can go to your locl glazier, present them with the window rubber, they should be able to cut out a glass to shape for you.
