Easnor Castle 4x4 show 9/10 June
We haven't been able to get a club stand at the show this year, but they have offered us a club discount to camp the weekend. £30 per vehicle for the weekend, including two adult entry tickets to the show.
Please let us know if you wish to have a ticket booked.

With a collection of the finist G's in the country,, :wink: :lol: of course it's worth coming down for the day, plus there will be plenty of stands from 4x4 suppliers,, lots of LR stuff to sniggle at,,general camping stuff,, off roading / expedition tour operators,, there should be an off road course to do at extra cost..
oh,,, did i mention the G Wagen's

At the moment we have 8 / 9 G's turning up for the weekend. The club stand is for 5 vehicles, but we may be able to squeeze a few more in. The'll be a nice selection of G's, 460, 461, 463, Military and modified, and a few more if we can fit them in.

There are 8/9 members turning up with G's for the whole weekend. Of those, at least 5 G's will be on the stand + a few more if we can fit them in the space provided, and assuming the organisers allow it. The remainder of the G's will be in the camping area.
Day visitors park in another car park, (seperated from both the camping area and the show area) and then have a ten or so minute walk to the show.
Hi Shauny+Dawny hope to be on the road for 3.30pm friday i can go two ways the faster route is 201 miles the shorter is 155 miles,should take around 4.5 hours. What time are you leaving?
Just checked the route finder,it shows 153 miles from where i am,which by their books means 3 hours and a bit. whats the A40 like?
are there refreshments etc?
Theres normally plenty off burger vans and the like around the show.
Hus,, using the A40 could take longer then sticking on M Ways. M25 > M40 > M42 > M5 > M50, despite the extra miles works well.

My one may not be ready intime, having new rad and new winch fitted and mods to the winch bumper, so I have asked if I can use tonys old WAB11 for the stand which Ill bring on a trailer, if not then Ill just come for the day.
Would anyone help me drink some of my local Butcombe bitter if I was to get a barrell?
This is a serious GWOA meet,, not an excuse to drink beer! :lol:

no :cry: .......maxwell rang me at 10:45 while i was repairing my dry cleaning machine :x
the bearings broke down on me on saturday and had an engineer come over today .i was in dire straights when maxwell rang me to meet up i islington,but couldnt make that either!!

I was planning to go up until yesterday afternoon - but unfortunately didn't get all my work done so had to bail out at the last minute. :(

Great weekend. The lovelly barrel of beer bought along by Rich went down very well indeed, I'm sure one point on Saturday evening i counted 16 G Wagens, funny half of them had gone in the morning :?
The lads did very well in the scrap heap challange sorting out various problems on an old LR.
