Devon & Cornwall Meet
Ok looking at everyones fun trips is making me fell leftout! :( Do we have any Devon and Cornwall members who fancy a meet? Any Ideas for a venue/pay n play/track? :? :? :? :? Dates after Easter?
We have some good tracks like this one...trouble is you end up reversing all the way back as they end up unpassable :cry:

That's as far as I got on that lane. It's very very steep and the angle is such that every time I put the G on the high side of the track it slid across back.....good job they're designed to slide not tip! I was on my own a part from my KTM rider chum who was navigating. A team effort might succeed. So Mr piggysims If you're up for it I'll sort a date and a route after Easter. :D :D :D :D

How many times has piggy had his repainted? And how many times do other G owners cry when they see the battle scars on Marks? Numbers too high to count I am sure.

I'm still sorting an interesting route....good weather has meant Fishing and Diving has been given my full attention! On my hols next week so sort something when I get back.
Back off my hols...Narrow Boating on the Oxford Canal. For those interested boat had a mint 3 cylinder air cooled Lister....drove me batty putt, putt, putt for 6 hours a day.
I've been out on recon a gain. Cracking day some excellent lanes. Can I claim a record? Set out with a Freelander for company, but my mates Wife took one look at the lanes and parked up! So we set off all in my SWB G.... 4 adults, 5 kids and 3 dogs!!
I don't think the last lane below is do-able, legend has it a Landie had to be broken up where it got stuck! I'd like to see a Silver G have ago!!

So Sunday 29th is a firm date. Meet at the Cafe on Treurulefoot Roundabout Which is on the A38 between Landrake and Liskeard just into Cornwall.OS Grid Ref 330 590. I suggest 10am meet time. If you're early it does a good breakfast. Please let me know if you're coming and we can PM Mobile Numbers in case of problems. Things to note there are Cameras on the M5 around Exeter that look for average speed and there is a 50 mph Limit once across the Saltash Bridge into Cornwall and there are Cameras everywhere! The above is no worry in my G!!, but better to be aware!

I work in the 3rd biggest organisation in the world, right after the Chinese army and Indian State railways... the NHS. So I guess I'm crap at communication! Sorry if I messed up anyones plans. I floated the date 22 on the 10th, but as I say no firm feedback until 19th and as I'd assumed no interest so was not checking. :oops:
Shall I bin the 29th or are Jeepmadmike and Dorset G still interested?

mmm i would love to there but G is not MOT'd currently and im busy with work and home life at the minute, If i can find a builder to finish my brick paving i might get some time on the G.
OK no meeting. I see Dorset G is selling his G on the site. I'll have another attempt in September when things are less busy. :D :D
