This has always facinated me. I have heard of this technology as far back as the 70's.
This is the site for browns gas.
http://www.water4gas.com/
And I know it works because there is another small company in the US
whos sells bigger kits that work.

This company sells a conversion kits that you can see working.

If you go to the 'demo' video, its awesome !!

But try this link for a quicker view.

Ive spoken to both companies and economy is varied according to consistancy of speed. But Both sy about 30-40% savings.

There are trucks over here in Australia that use similar conversions,so its not a scam.

Water for gas: Dont be put of by the way he presents his product. He knows what he is talking about. He is aiming for a 100% kit in 18 months.
He is idealistic and really wants to help people.
Im waiting for the 100% kit for my diesel.
I have no connections with either of these companies.

Water4gas says the conversion works better on a Diesel engine because its a tougher engine.

Nice idea, but water here is £1.50 a ltr from any good garage supermarket, not much saving

I liter of diesel doesnt equal 1 liter water and the fuel you gain from that.

Perpetual motion ( or a free lunch ) once again, well sort of, so why has Toyato and Ford and General Motors and others spent millions on alternative energy/fuel cells and not discovered/developed this breakthrough, one wonders.

Hey marcus!

I don't want to be a spoiler but why would big companies tell people that they can save gas or the nature.. Because they wouldn't benefit from it for long.
It is really quite easy to do an hho cell by home means and once you have done it, it really needs low maintenance, so zero profit for big companies or others who control the oil money.

And also the water it uses, is about 1L of water for 500km and basicly you can use tap water after boiling it, then you just would have to change the water inside the cell more often than every 500km..

As far as environmental efficiency is concerned, hydrogen is a red-herring. H2O is merely an energy carriers and you still need energy which must be generated in another matter for electrolysis.

The only way the hydrogen powered cars could even be marginally considered to be a viable alternative is if you use 100% renewable energy to perform electrolysis. And even then it wouldn't be the best solution since the grid to drive ability of energy to hydrogen is significantly less efficient (operates at about 25-30%) than that of grid to battery in an EV.

As for saving gas you'd be better to convert your G to a hybrid....

Yarr!!

I would most likely not send to you Marcus 100£ or € or $ but if you or anybody else need to know how to get easy money you can send me your car parts or 100€ either way is fine  or maybe just try the same trick to someone else.. maybe you'll get luckier than Marcus or myself

Well back to hydrogen business, which is non profitable over to the long run to anybody but yourself, i myself rather drive with a hho and save some money on the gas bill.. But if you consider yourself a "moneymaker" then please drive without hho.

Btw at my place(Finland) Diesel costs an ~1,23€ / L, so that's about 0,94£ / L for the Diesel costs..
And the lucky owner of a W461 drives at 14L / 100km =)
