finally found the culprit!!!!!!!!

After months of bare footwells i have sourced the main source of water ingress on BOTH SDES!! 8) 8) :D

i will now have both wings removed and these areas repaired.but what are they :?:

are they the mounts where the front wings fix onto the firewall.i can only just see them and touch them with my fingers.

i poured a kettle of water directly onto each one and it was like niagra falls inside.has anyone else come across this problem :?:

are they changeable mounts or welded on.this in my opinion is a design fault as the water running off the lip under the bonnet below the windscreen falls(drips slowly..) onto these spacer like mounts are eventually weeped in gradually over the years and caused interior problems on my G.LUCKILY MY G WAS ALWAYS GARAGED, AS IT WOULD HAVE ENDED UP A LOW MILEAGE NEGLECTED RUST BUCKET :!: :!: :!:
