Hi
My name is Howard and I live near Nottingham. I have a 1984 G 280GE which I use to operate the Rushcliffe Barn Owl Project in South Notts. We're one of the most successfull Barn Owl Projects in the Country and my G is used off road when erecting and servicing 130 nesting boxes.
At the moment, I have a big problem in that I have snapped a front offside half shaft and the replacement is £600.
Can anybody help with suggestions of where to get a new or used replacement at reasonable cost?

there is a 280ge being broken for parts on Ebay (the whole vehicle is GBP 1000) also we have one being broken here in Northern Ireland..... shipping costs may deter you from the NI one rgds

forgot to mention ...there are different model axles about ..check the model of yours from the data plate on th axle and make sure the shaft you buy come from the same model rgds
