Weekend in Scotland
A few pics from this weekend’s event in Scotland. The meeting started at Alan Gibsons workshop, where there was a great selection of vehicles, 460’s a 461 290GD and 463’s. Standard G’s along with some very well sorted off road competition G’s, and a very nice 463 with a Sprinter conversion.
Saturday afternoon we did the first of the road trips over to the hotel at Peebles where we had a few cups of tea and a couple of Orange juices.
Sunday saw the second of the road trips which took us through the fantastic snow covered Lammermuir hills, and into Edinburgh where we finished off with a superb meal at Freds restaurant.
Thanks to members who attended, some travelling a long way. A huge thanks to Rakesh, to Alan for letting us have use of his workshop and great hospitality, and of course to Fred who put in a huge amount of work in getting this event sorted.
Bhaarr!
i like that bottom picture! good to see my old girl out on the road with the rest! really like what you did with the front, dont know why i never took that bar off!
:D Looks like a fun weekend for all .....but cold ....

thanks for sharing mark.
who owned the white lwb?
I have to say this was one of the most enjoyable, and interesting weekends I have had.
A big thanks to Fred and Betty for there hospitality, Alan for using me to tidy his yard and workshop ! and all the g owners who came from far and wide. But most of all was the fascinating stories of fred's grandad when his was A POW in WW11, and betty for a great story of there village in france. Both could be a book.
Thanks for your that guys... will put more pictures up when I am allowed...(please Tim if you see that message).
The white one belong to a member (David/capolongo)from Newcastle and its a lwb gd turbo diesel.
Tom,your car is a real joy to drive now after having spent a bit of time and a few pounds on it.... She is soon going for a bit of paint job... :D
not the one of me though fred, aye.
although what made it more interesting was that both stories were said in a french accent, which sexies any story up, even if it was coming from you fred. LOL
i am so gutted, it would have been such a great trip! what colour are you changing her too fred?
great to see a good club event though, from what i observed on here it was hard to organise but obviously paid off, well done fred and those that made the trip!
Keeping same color...great one...just freshing it up....and ho...she will have recaros seat as well...
hi one and all a special thank you to fred and betty for organising event great fun and a thanks to all members present nice to see members from as far afield as London and Ireland, just a quick note to inform members that these organised events are geared not only for enthusiasts but also for families, look foreward to next meet David

ARE THERE ANY CENSORED PICS WE ARE NOT AWARE OF!!!
lol...let us know if you find anything out Huss!
Nice photos...i wonder if that white G with 2003+ mirrors is a 55..they look a bit weird black on white, but maybe they're just not painted to prevent the inevitable scratches they'll get
:D

Hi Tim, was talking to tim our web site administrator to get some more space for pictures as my limit was reached... :D :D
Mustafa, the white truck is a l reg 300gd turbo diesel, the side indicators were not painted voluntarily so it has a nice contrast of black & white.
