Re: ebay.de help

Check that the seller is prepared to ship to UK first, unless he has specified that he will.
Most Germans use a direct bank transfer as their prefered payment method. That entails a £10+ bank charge in the UK.
Shouldn't have to pay any taxes though. (no expert)
I've bought stuff from >de

Re: ebay.de help

i have brought many an item off ebay.de!
i just make sure that they accept paypal and will post to the uk.

i always ask if they speak english so we can understand each other properly.

eg:i just brought the "fat damper"4634630032 off ebay.de for £75 to my door!!!!

Re: ebay.de help

its for my dad. can you believe he mentioned that maybe i should have the ML as g's are so hard to come by (unless its Bruces which i would sell a kidney for). I would rather have an alfa 147, least i would expect it to break down then!

I messaged the guy and he seems happy, think he is just a bit worried as i know i would be with a foreign buyer.
