Just a brief Intro

New member from outside Belfast in Marty's part of the world. Currently have a 1990 CE300 (low mileage but in need of some TLC) and an SL350 (company car). I work at the local Mercedes-Benz Dealer in Belfast hence the SL.

I have just seen the light and am currently selling the prancing horse for something alot more desirable. (Photo attached before she goes)Hope to collect the 463 300GES next week.

welcome gilbert,an honour to hear the prancing horse is being replaced by the mighty G.
With marty and the mb dealership you have a good team to overcome any obstacles.

Re: Swapping Italian for something more trustworthy

Well the Ferrari is long gone and I collected the G from Yorkshire on valentines day (I was popular when I missed the ferry!!)

The vehicle was discussed on the forum and had a lenghty description on Ebay. Anyway it met it's description in the flesh and drove brilliantly, if a little slower than the Ferrari, back to Stranraer.

Very pleased and looking forward to something not quite so tempremental.

Chris

Yes it was the one off ebay. It is very clean except for the usual patch of rust around the rear lights.

Would well up for a meet over here. I haven't seen Marty since the purchase but would be delighted to meet my fellow G owners over here and learn a bit more about the ups and downs.
