steering wheel for a 460
hi guys, anyone know if the w129(sl),c class steering wheels fit my G ?
I think the w124 and c class are the same.the original wheel rubs my legs when getting in and out and i dont want to wear the recaros with my fat a*se!!!!

What diameter is the steering wheel you got?? I was looking to change the plastic one fitted as OE but was afraid to go too small as 1 it would look wrong and 2 might not fit right when offered up to the steering column surround. Also was thinking of a wooden one to match the dash of a 463.
any ideas leather with feel or wood with effect?

hi mike, any w124 or w201(190e) wheel will go straight on.my wheel is 15.5" in diameter.MUCH BETTER than the standard plastic rubbish fitted.
i think leather is better and feels nicer,plus it wont slip in your hands :!:
wooden wheel also scratches aswell.
go onto ebay and write mercedes steering wheels. 8)

look at the steering wheel on my cab in n-cyprus,it has a late w124 wheel on it that is even nicer.that cost me £75,but worth it.

finally got an original leather wheel off a 2.3-16valve. 15" diameter and great condition,much better driving feel than before,what next......????
off ebay for £30 to my doorstep!!!!
